Dear Juno,
I just wanted to tell you, that I am 100% on your side with your decision on giving your baby up for adoption. However, I do not agree with your choice of having unprotected sex. But in your position of being pregnant and having the choice to abort the baby, keep it or give it up for adoption, I do think you made the best decision for you and the baby. If you would have aborted him, you may have had so many regrets later in life, about not letting the baby have a chance.
You and Bleeker are way too young and no offense, immature as well, to be able to raise the baby in a stable environment. Your relationship also could have had so many more problems due to stress from the baby. I know you were looking for an adoptive family that had 2 great parents. Unfortunately, Mark was not ready to raise a baby, but Vanessa, without a doubt, was the best fit for a mother. She was definitely ready for it financially, physically and mentally.
It’s probably a good thing that Mark walked out when he did. If he stayed until the baby was born, the stress of being a father before he was ready, could have put the baby in an unhealthy environment. The way it worked out, the baby was not subjected to any emotional stress or uneasiness. Now that you and Bleeker’s relationship is back to normal, you both are free to go off to college and still have time to play in your little band together like normal teenagers.
With all this being said, everything happens for a reason. Even though at this moment, you might not want to see the baby or know what he’s doing, you may change your mind later in life. At least now you have that option.
I’m sure Vanessa will be forever thankful you have given her the chance to be a mother, which she’s always dreamed about. If you ever look back and think about if you made the right decision, just remember this baby will always be loved.
Sincerely, Alexis
